Le major Thomas « Tulo » Neilson, né le 13 mai 1991, est décédé dans un accident de moto aux premières heures du 12 septembre 2026. à l’âge de 35 ans et 3 mois, M. Thomas Stuart-Neilson, demeurant à Chicoutimi. Il était le fils de madame Grainne Neilson et de monsieur Douglas Neilson.

Les Forces armées canadiennes organiseront ses funérailles le 20 septembre, de 10 h à 12 h, à la chapelle de la BFC Bagotville (Québec) ; une réception suivra.
Il sera inhumées au Cimetière Beechwood à Ottawa ultérieurement.
Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Charlie Morisette ; ses parents, Grainne et Douglas ; ses beaux-parents, Shelley et Ian ; ainsi que ses frère et sœur, Hamish et Claire. En mémoire de Tom et de son engagement en tant que pilote au sein de l'ARC, veuillez envisager de faire un don à la Ligue des cadets de l'air du Canada en son nom.
Major Thomas “Tulo” Neilson, born May 13th 1991, died in a motorcycle accident in the early hours of Sept 12th, 2026. He is survided by his wife, Charlie Morisette, his parents Grainne and Douglas, step parents Shelley and Ian, and siblings Hamish and Claire. In memory of Tom and his dedication to life as a pilot with the RCAF, please consider a donation the Air Cadet League of Canada in his name.
His wake will be held on Sept 19th from 1800-2100 at Alliance Funeraire Du Royaume in Chicoutimi, Quebec, and the CAF will be holding his funeral on Sept 20th from 1000-1200 at Chapelle BFC Bagotville, Quebec, reception to follow.

Our Board shares your grief with Tom's tragic loss, to you and through his stellar career, to all Canadians. It is obvious that a love for work and service are family traits. Several members have known Tom since childhood, and the rest of us who were not so lucky have been blessed with the retold stories. My dearest condolences to Tom's family and loved ones.
We may have fallen out of touch over the years since high school, but he was such a bright spark. He managed to make his mark in spite of that short window.
